The Guesten Hall

The Guesten Hall has been sympathetically built within the ruin of what used to be the medieval 'guest hall', and the original stone adds a charming medieval character to the building.

Leiston Abbey is delighted to announce that civil ceremonies can now be performed in either the Upper or Lower Hall. Please contact us for details.

It comprises an upper and lower level, and has cloakroom facilities. The lower hall has a fine stone floor, and leads onto the beautiful terrace area, overlooking the gardens. The upper level is light and airy, and has superb views across the Suffolk Countryside. It also benefits from excellent acoustics.

The Guesten Hall can be hired separately for functions of up to 70 people.
